Mark Cuban has been floating the idea of running for President. Last week, he clarified that if he decided to run, he would do so as a Republican and challenge President Trump in the primary. The fact that Cuban is being taken seriously is an indication of how much things have changed in Presidential politics. Cuban supported Hillary Clinton in 2016, so most people assumed he was a Democrat, but if you listened to his comments at the time, he was less of a Clinton supporter and more anti-Trump. I don’t like everything about Mark Cuban. Similar to Donald Trump, he is in love with the camera and his own voice and image. He comes off as more of a contrarian than a visionary, but he seems like an intelligent person that posses legitimate empathy and a healthy (not delusional) sense of self-confidence. Could I get behind Mark Cuban for President? I would need to know a little more about his policies, but if I had to make a blind choice between him and Donald Trump, it would be no contest…
Never in U.S. history have we had two older or less popular candidates running for president of the United States than we do today. We repeatedly hear the question, “How can these two candidates be the best our country has to offer?”.
if you are primarily fearful of living in a society that is racist and discriminatory, you should be very concerned with what is happening with the political far left. If your primary fear is moving our society towards socialism and communism, then you should be mostly fearful of the political far right. That statement may seem counterintuitive, but it is absolutely true.
People on the political right believe that people on the extreme left are the biggest problems in our nation. People on the political left think that people on the extreme right pose the biggest threat. This is one occasion when both sides are correct.
