If you haven’t seen the Modelo beer commercials that highlight the achievements of some notable Hispanic-Americans, you should. They smartly connect with Hispanic consumers without being patronizing, stereotypical, or condescending. My favorite one is about the first Latina fighter pilot, Olga Custodio. There are others including one with NFL great, Anthony Muñoz. Companies who have struggled to find ways to market to English-speaking Hispanics effectively should take notice. This is how it’s done.
About a year ago, I was convinced by some of my closest friends that I should do a podcast. Today it seems like everyone has a podcast, and frankly, 99% of them aren’t very good.
