The NAHREP national convention has evolved into one of the hottest housing events of the year. This year’s convention features President George W. Bush, Phoenix Suns head coach, Earl Watson, and a long list of industry leaders and top producing practitioners. My favorite part of the conference each year is observing first-hand the pride and strong sense of ownership that our members have for this event. Seeing our members greet each other is one of the most beautiful things I get to do. Expect great presentations and a top tier production, but the energy and the people are what make the event what it is – life changing. I can’t wait!
The usual solutions will not solve the current housing affordability crisis. Any solution that does not begin and end with a sustainable plan to radically increase housing supply is just noise. The barriers to increasing housing supply are complex and require the crucial cooperation of both public and private sectors, and more education.
