I’m excited to say that my favorite TV show is back with a new season. The first two seasons of Ray Donovan were some of the best television I have ever seen in my life. Jon Voight gave a master class in acting every week. Steven Bauer from Scarface plays Ray’s fixer associate. Seasons three and four got a little dark and drifted from the Hollywood storylines that originally got me hooked. After seeing episode one of season five, it appears the show is returning to its original premise but with some big cast changes. I have never been into sci-fi or shows that are about the supernatural or fantasy. I don’t watch Games of Thrones or The Walking Dead. I generally only watch films or TV shows that are based on real life scenarios and drama. Ray Donovan is television at its best in my book.
