NAHREP attendees also had access to L’ATTITUDE’s main stage sessions, which included a second extensive list of CEOs, Investors, celebrities, and athletes.
During the event, NAHREP introduced two new organizations it recently established, including the National Hispanic Construction Alliance (NHCA), a trade group for Hispanics in the construction industry, and AVANCE Sports, a business organization for Latinos in the sports industry. AVANCE also hosted a basketball tourney that attracted some of the top scholastic basketball talent from Spain, Mexico, and the United States. In addition to these VIPs, 3,400 attendees from NAHREP, NHCA, and AVANCE spent four days in San Diego learning and networking. During a real estate industry recession, NAHREP had its most well-attended event to date.
The list of participants is impressive, but you might still wonder what the value of events like NAHREP at L’ATTITUDE is and why they exist.
NAHREP shares data at conferences to build a more accurate narrative about the Latino community from an economic perspective. Sharing that data with attendees, influential business leaders, and media at the event helps achieve that goal while arming them with information that can give them a competitive advantage with their businesses.
Secondly, events like NAHREP at L’ATTITUDE provide a platform for showcasing people doing extraordinary things in the various industries represented at the event.
However, more than anything else, the real value of events like NAL is the marketplace dynamic—the connections made and the information exchanged between attendees. The best events are where deals are made, customers are acquired, businesses are funded, and partnerships are formed.
The next iteration of NAHREP will focus on building the most robust marketplace ever created for entrepreneurs, business leaders, and investors. Stay Tuned; the best is yet to come!
