Today is the Super Bowl and I am rooting for the LA Rams, but while my heart is with the Rams my head says the Patriots will win again. At 41 years old, Tom Brady does not seem to be slowing down and I reluctantly have to admit that he is probably the greatest football player of all time. However, if the Brady/Belichick dynasty has proven anything, it has proved that in football you need the right quarterback and the right coach, everything else is interchangeable. Go Rams!
The NFL markets its brand as well as any enterprise in the world. I heard a comedian once say that the NFL is so popular, it has its own day. NFL football is huge. Each NFL franchise brings in approximately $400M a year in revenue; almost double the annual revenue of NBA teams and 2 ½ times as much as MLB clubs.
